Fleming Island, FL – Car Accident in NB Lanes of US-17
Fleming Island, FL (March 31, 2020) – Around 6:20 a.m. this morning, Clay County officials responded to the scene of a car accident in Fleming Island.
The accident took place in the northbound lanes of US-17 around the area of Eagle Harbor Parkway.
Though police have not yet commented on the circumstances of the accident, multiple vehicles collided in the right and center lanes of traffic. There were severe damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics and other emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident assisting those with injuries. Numerous lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
