Gainesville, FL – Car Accident with Injuries at Newberry Rd and 75th St

Gainesville, FL (June 25, 2020) – Around 10:36 a.m. this morning, a car accident with serious injuries took place at a Gainesville intersection.

Though few details have been released concerning the accident, authorities responded in the early morning hours where they found that two vehicles collided at Newberry Road and 75th Street.

Along with law enforcement officials, many other responders were called to the scene including fire crews and paramedics. EMS crews assisted one or more victims with injuries, who have since been hospitalized.

The road was quickly reopened following the accident.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
