Gainesville, FL (June 26, 2020) – Around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash that took place at an intersection.

The accident took place at the intersection of 75th Street and 41st Place when two vehicles suddenly collided with one another.

Though few details have been confirmed, it is believed that the first vehicle fled the scene of the accident. It is not yet known if the party was caught by the police.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. EMS crews assisted those with injuries.

The road was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
