Green Cove Springs, FL (June 24, 2020) – Early this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Green Cove Springs.

Police confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of US-17 and Sweat Road when two vehicles collided with each other for unknown reasons around 8:43 a.m.

Numerous emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. There, they discovered that numerous parties were injured as a result of the collision.

The right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
