Interlachen, FL – Hit-and-Run Accident at Franklin St and Janet Ave
Interlachen, FL (June 24, 2020) – Around 6 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in Interlachen.
According to police, the accident took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Franklin Street and Janet Avenue. One of the vehicles then fled the scene of the accident without checking on the other parties.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the conditions of those involved are not yet known.
The roadway was quickly reopened at the intersection.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time.
