Jacksonville Beach, FL – Pedestrian Accident at 10th Ave Intersection
Jacksonville Beach, FL (April 18, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident at a Jacksonville Beach intersection.
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department responded to the scene of the collision at the intersection of 1st Street and 10th Avenue.
A woman was jogging near the intersection when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle. Police officers and a trauma surgeon just so happened to be at the scene of the accident and helped to lift the vehicle off of the victim.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident and helped to assist police in the investigation. Their investigation continues.
