Jacksonville, FL – 1 Killed in Fatal Accident on Lone Star Rd
Jacksonville, FL (May 3, 2020) – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of a fatal accident at 8400 Lone Star Rd. on May 2.
The accident took place at 4:30 p.m. and involved at least two vehicles. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded and determined that one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Fire crews were able to extricate the victim but they succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident.
The roadway was closed down in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
