Jacksonville, FL – 3 Hospitalized After Apartment Fire on Sunbeam Rd

Jacksonville, FL (March 3, 2020) – This morning, three people were hospitalized following an apartment fire on Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville.

The fire marshal was called to the scene of the apartment fire, which led to extensive damages at The Park at Anzio apartment homes. A total of ten homes were completely damaged due to the fire. Several families were displaced due to the fire.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department received initial calls around 4 a.m. where they found six units burning. They assisted the injured victims and three individuals were taken to a local area hospital with a variety of injuries.

A total of 70 firefighters assisted at the scene of the fire.

The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
