Jacksonville, FL (May 21, 2020) – According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a serious ATV accident took place at a local intersection last night, May 20.
The accident took place at the intersection of Powhattan Street and West First Street when an ATV and a passenger vehicle collided with one another for unknown reasons. Photographs taken at the scene showed the ATV mangled in the front yard of a person’s home.
The windshield on the white sedan involved in the accident was badly busted due to the accident. It is believed that the ATV rider was the only person injured in the accident and they were hospitalized as a result.
The intersection was shut down in the area for a short amount of time last night.
Police continue their investigation into the collision.
