Jacksonville, FL – Bicycle Crash at Rampart Rd and Bear Creek Dr
Jacksonville, FL (April 8, 2020) – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a bicycle crash at a local intersection on Monday, April 6.
The accident took place around 8:50 p.m. on Rampart Road near the intersection of Bear Creek Drive. A pickup truck was headed north toward the intersection when his vehicle collided with a bicyclist.
The bicyclist, who was not yet identified, was the only person injured in the accident. They were immediately hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. However, their current condition is not yet known.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
