Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-295 Near Baymeadows Rd
Jacksonville, FL (June 28, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, a car accident with injuries took place on a major Jacksonville roadway.
The accident, according to police, took place when multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of I-295 around the area of Baymeadows Road. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages as a result of the collision.
Numerous emergency responders including the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, fire crews, and paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. There were extensive delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
