Jacksonville, FL (May 14, 2020) – This morning, police responded to the scene of a serious car accident on a major highway.

Though few details have been released concerning the accident, it is believed that multiple vehicles collided with one another in the westbound lanes of I-295 near the area of Wilson Boulevard.

The accident took place in the northbound lanes of traffic, leading to a variety of delays in the area for some time.

Paramedics responded to the scene due to the fact that injuries were reported. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing at this time.
