Jacksonville, FL (April 25, 2020) – Duval County authorities responded to the scene of a car accident on a major highway around 2:48 a.m. this morning.

According to police, the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Golfair Boulevard in Jacksonville.

Numerous responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision including fire crews, paramedics, and other responders. Paramedics helped those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The right lane of traffic was blocked for some time but police were quickly able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
