Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident with Injuries in SB Lanes of Buckman Bridge
Jacksonville, FL (May 27, 2020) – Last night, May 26, police responded to the scene of a serious car accident resulting in injuries in Jacksonville.
According to police, the collision happened around 9:30 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided in a chain-reaction collision on the Buckman Bridge. The accident closed down all southbound lanes of traffic for several hours.
Though the exact cause of the accident is not yet known, multiple vehicles were seen badly damaged in the area due to the collision. Paramedics and other responders were present at the scene and assisted those with injuries.
The lanes of traffic were completely reopened by approximately 11:30 p.m. last night.
At this time, the circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
