Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-295
Jacksonville, FL (December 4, 2019) – Around 3:30 a.m. this morning, Jacksonville Police responded to a car accident with injuries that took place on a major highway.
The accident, according to police, took place in the westbound lanes of I-295 near the area of Dunn Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the highway, blocking the left lane of traffic.
Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident due to the severity of the damages involved. It is believed that two or more parties were injured due to the accident. Their current conditions are not yet known.
There were extensive delays in the early morning hours until around 6:30 a.m. when the roads were cleared. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
