Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident with Injuries on Isaiah D Hart Bridge
Jacksonville, FL (May 24, 2020) – Last night, May 23, various responders were dispatched to the scene of a serious car accident in Jacksonville.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the collision took place when multiple vehicles collided in a chain-reaction crash in the northbound lanes of the Isaiah D. Hart Bridge, heading into Downtown Jacksonville.
Paramedics, fire crews, and various other emergency responders were present at the scene of the collision to assist those with injuries. It is not known how many were hospitalized as a result of the accident.
Numerous lanes of traffic were blocked following the collision until police were able to properly clear the scene.
At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
