Jacksonville, FL – Fatal 2-Vehicle Accident on US-17
Jacksonville, FL (January 8, 2020) – Early this morning around 6:37 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol assisted at the scene of a fatal two-vehicle accident on US-17.
The collision, according to police, took place north of State Road 200. The accident closed the roadway in both directions for several hours.
Police did not comment on the circumstances of the collision but it is believed that two vehicles collided head-on due to front-end damages in the vehicles involved.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
