Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Powers Ave Intersection

Jacksonville, FL (December 20, 2019) – On Thursday night around 7 p.m., a fatal pedestrian crash took place at the intersection of Powers Avenue and Toledo Road in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident where they found that a man was struck by a vehicle. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to severe trauma.

All lanes of Powers Avenue were closed down following the collision.

The driver stopped at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police for the investigation.
