Jacksonville, FL (July 14, 2020) – This morning around 11:53 a.m., a hit-and-run crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Jacksonville.

According to police, the collision took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection in San Jose Boulevard and San Lucas Road. One of the vehicles involved in the collision fled the scene and police did not confirm if they caught up with them as of yet.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, fire crews, and paramedics were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries and transported them to the hospital.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
