Jacksonville, FL – Injuries Reported After Car Accident on I-95
Jacksonville, FL (May 22, 2020) – Early this morning, police responded to a serious car accident on a major highway that led to injuries.
The accident allegedly took place at 9 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of University Boulevard when multiple vehicles collided with one another.
A variety of emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident including local law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time but police were able to quickly clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
