Jacksonville, FL (May 15, 2020) – Around noon today, a major car crash with injuries took place in the southbound lanes of I-295 around the Normandy Boulevard area.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue assisted at the scene of the accident, where they discovered that multiple individuals had injuries and at least one was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.

At least three vehicles at the scene had severe damages and were seen being loaded onto tow trucks. Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene.

The accident happened at 11:30 a.m. but the scene was cleared within an hour.

No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing.
