Jacksonville, FL (July 6, 2020) – Last night, July 5, a motorcycle crash with one fatality took place at a Jacksonville intersection.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place at the intersection of Art Museum Drive and Atlantic Boulevard.

Police confirmed that a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle collided after entering the intersection at the same time. Paramedics were present at the scene and injuries were initially reported. However, they quickly confirmed that one party on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

There were extensive delays in the area of the intersection for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
