Jacksonville, FL (November 23, 2019) – Around 5:50 p.m. last evening, police and other emergency responders assisted at the scene of the accident on a major Jacksonville highway.

The accident took place in the westbound lanes of FL-9A. The on-ramp to the highway was closed down in the area for some time due to the severity of the collision.

Various emergency responders arrived to assist at the scene of the collision including paramedics, fire crews, local law enforcement, and more. Paramedics were seen assisting one or more parties, though the extent of their injuries is not known.

There were extensive delays in the area for several hours.

No other details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
