Ocala, FL – Car Accident with Injuries at 26th St and 25th Loop
Ocala, FL (July 20, 2020) – Ocala authorities were dispatched to the scene of a car accident at an intersection this morning.
According to police, the collision took place around 11:52 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided with one another at the intersection of 26th Street and 25th Loop in a developmental area. The accidents struck one another so forcefully that both sustained severe damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not fully known but it is believed that one or more victims were hospitalized as a result.
The intersection was blocked only for a short period of time, which led to small delays in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
