Orange Park, FL (May 14, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, authorities responded to a serious car accident with injuries on a major roadway.

The accident, according to police, took place on Blanding Boulevard near the P Lot Big Dog restaurant parking lot. The accident involved at least two vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene of the accident where they assisted one or more parties with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The roadway was closed down in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing at this time.
