Orange Park, FL (June 5, 2020) – Around 10:41 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash with injuries in Orange Park.

The accident allegedly took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and Burwick Avenue for reasons that are still under investigation. The vehicle that caused the accident fled the scene. It is not known if police were able to catch the responsible individuals.

Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist those with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known but it is believed that the parties were hospitalized.

The intersection was blocked for a period of time following the collision.

No further details have been provided. Police continue to investigate.
