Palatka, FL – Injury Accident at US-17 and CR-216
Palatka, FL (June 25, 2020) – Last night, June 24, a car accident with injuries took place at a Palatka intersection.
According to police, the accident took place around 10 p.m. last night when two vehicles collided for unknown reasons at the intersection of US-17 and CR-216. The vehicles involved both suffered severe damages. Both drivers remained at the scene.
It is not known how many were injured as a result of the accident but paramedics were present to treat those with injuries. The victims who were injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
There was a partial roadblock in the area but police quickly cleared the scene.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
