Gainesville, FL – Car Crash at 75th St and 8th Ave Leads to Injuries

St Augustine, FL – Car Accident at FL-16 and Collins Ave

St. Augustine, FL (May 23, 2020) – This afternoon, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries at a local intersection.

The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of FL-16 and Collins Avenue when two vehicles collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known.

The accident took place around 1 p.m. but the roadway was not cleared until several hours later. There was extensive damage to the vehicles involved.

Injuries were also reported due to the collision. Paramedics were present at the scene to assist those with injuries.

The intersection was closed down in the area for a period of time.

No further details have been provided but the investigation is currently ongoing.
