St. Augustine, FL (December 22, 2019) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident on I-95 that led to injuries.

According to authorities, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway when multiple vehicles collided with one another.

There was a roadblock for a short period of time while paramedics and other emergency responders assisted those with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
