Jacksonville, FL – Six Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Philips Hwy

Jacksonville, FL (November 3, 2019) – This past week, six people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Philips Highway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle was being driven by a 25-year-old man who was riding in the southbound when he was hit by a 2015 Chevy Cruze. The Cruze was being driven by a 26-year-old from Jacksonville.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash.  His injuries were said to be life-threatening in nature. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. There was a 51-year-old passenger on the motorcycle who was also injured and was taken to the hospital for additional treatment.

The driver and passengers in the Chevy, including two children who were five years of age, were all treated at the scene of the collision.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
