Jacksonville, FL – One Injured in Truck Crash on I-301 (State Rd 200)
Jacksonville, FL (May 26, 2020) – A truck accident reported Tuesday afternoon left one person seriously injured, according to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol.
At around 12:30 p.m., on May 26, the FHP responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident along Interstate 301 near Normandy Boulevard.
Reports show that a semi-truck and a sedan collided along the roadway, causing the sedan to become lodged underneath the truck.
One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
