Jacksonville, FL – Serious Injuries Reported in Car Crash on I-295
Jacksonville, FL (January 8, 2020) – Around 2:30 a.m. this morning, serious injuries were reported as a result of a car crash that took place on I-295 in Jacksonville.
According to police, the accident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway near the exit ramp onto Main Street.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered that one person was trapped in a vehicle. They had to be extricated by fire crews.
Police confirmed that, in total, multiple people were transported from the scene with serious injuries.
No further details have been provided but the investigation is ongoing.
