Orange Park, FL – Serious Collision on Roosevelt Blvd at I-295
Orange Park, FL (November 7, 2019) – Jacksonville authorities responded to the scene of a serious collision on Roosevelt Boulevard in the area of I-295 on the morning of November 5. The accident caused injuries to one party.
The accident took place that morning around 11 a.m. when two or more vehicles collided on Roosevelt Boulevard right near the area where you get off the exit for I-295. One of the vehicles was badly damaged and an individual was trapped inside.
Fire crews worked diligently to rescue the person that was trapped inside their vehicle and were able to extricate them. The victim was then transported to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Multiple emergency crews assisted at the scene of the accident, leading to massive delays in the area. Police cleared the scene within hours and traffic resumed to normal.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
