Macclenny, FL (December 16, 2019) – Around 6 a.m. this morning, police were prompted to the scene of a hit-and-run collision with injuries on FL-8.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the collision but it is believed that one vehicle collided with another and then fled the scene.
At least one person in the vehicle that was struck was injured. The driver never stopped at the scene of the accident to check on their conditions. Police did not verify if the parties were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police were able to quickly clear the scene as injured parties received treatment. However, their investigation and search for the responsible driver are ongoing.
