Baker Co, FL – Over-Turned Semi Injures 4 on I-10
Baker Co, FL (March 1, 2020) – Four people were injured in Baker County in a crash involving five vehicles on Thursday, February 27th. The collision took place on I-10 at around 2:30 a.m. According to authorities, the driver of a semi-truck failed to stop in time to avoid a crash, causing his vehicle to overturn.
The first crash involved a truck driver from Lake Mary, Florida who had reportedly fallen asleep behind the wheel. Another trucker was unable to stop to avoid the crash and caused a multi-vehicle accident. Four people were hospitalized following the collision.
The trucker was cited for careless driving. No one was injured in the other accident. An investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
