Green Cove Springs, FL (December 22, 2019) – According to authorities in Green Cove Springs, police responded to the scene of a car accident on US-17.

The accident, according to police, took place at 5260 US-17 and led to injuries in one or more parties. Police immediately issued a roadblock due to severe damages in the involved vehicles.

According to police, the accident took place when one vehicle collided with another in the turning lane. Paramedics and other emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident and assisted those with injuries. Unfortunately, the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
