St. Augustine, FL (June 7, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. last afternoon, June 6, authorities responded to the scene of a car crash at an intersection in St. Augustine.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Coastal Highway and Sandcastle Lane and involved at least two vehicles, which were badly damaged due to the accident.

Numerous emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not known.

A roadblock was issued in the area and lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
