Jacksonville, FL – Car Accident on I-295 Near Collins Rd
Jacksonville, FL (May 17, 2020) – Around noon today, police responded to the scene of a serious car accident involving multiple vehicles on a major highway.
Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that two or more vehicles forcefully collided with one another in the southbound lanes of I-295. The crash took place near the area of Collins Road.
Due to the severity of the accident, the left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time as emergency responders worked at the scene. According to paramedics, one or more victims were injured and hospitalized as a result of the accident. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
