Fernandina Beach, FL – Car Accident at Citrona Dr and Lime St
Fernandina Beach, FL (May 20, 2020) – Early this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries in Fernandina Beach.
Around 10:38 a.m. this morning, emergency responders assisted at the scene of the accident, which took place at the intersection of Citrona Drive and Lime Street.
Numerous emergency responders were prompted to the scene of the collision including fire crews, paramedics, and more. EMS crews assisted those with injuries at the scene. Their current conditions are not known but it is believed that victims were hospitalized.
The intersection was closed down in the area for a short period of time but police were able to quickly reopen the roadway.
No further details have been provided but the investigation continues.
