Callahan, FL (May 1, 2020) – Around 1 p.m. this afternoon, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident at a Callahan intersection.

According to police, the collision took place at the intersection of US-1 and Parks Road when at least two vehicles forcefully collided with each other.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.

A roadblock was issued in the area for some time until the police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
