Ocala, FL – Car Accident at 99th St and 49th Ave Intersection
Ocala, FL (July 22, 2020) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Ocala.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of 99th Street and 49th Avenue when two vehicles collided with one another. It is believed that the vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time.
Numerous emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident including fire crews and paramedics. EMS crews assisted those with injuries. It is believed that one or more victims were hospitalized.
There was a roadblock issued in the area. Police quickly cleared the scene of the accident and traffic resumed as normal.
Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
