Jacksonville, FL – Critical Injuries in House Fire on Stafford Rd
Jacksonville, FL (March 18, 2020) – One person received critical injuries in a house fire that took place last night, March 17, around 6:45 p.m.
Various responders were present at the scene of the accident, including local law enforcement officials and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Fire crews were initially sent in but they did not find anyone from the first check. The firefighters then went through on a second check and found somebody unconscious and not breathing.
The person was immediately rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police believe that the fire started in the kitchen and took approximately 10 minutes to get under control.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation.
