Jacksonville, FL – Truck Accident on I-10 Leads to Minor Injuries

Jacksonville, FL (November 25, 2019) – Late Sunday, November 24, police responded to the scene of a serious truck accident on I-10 that led to minor injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident where they found that a semi-truck was headed east and failed to yield to two road maintenance trucks. The trucks displayed arrow boards and signage and were blocking the right lane.

The semi ran into both of the trucks and then became fully engulfed in flames. The driver was identified as a man from Georgia who did not have serious injuries and was cited for careless driving.

The roadway was closed for some time while emergency responders assisted at the scene. Minor injuries were reported but none were severe or life-threatening.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
