Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Bicycle Accident on Duval Rd
Jacksonville, FL (November 2, 2019) – Around 1:45 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a fatal bicycle accident on Duval Road that took the life of one victim.
The accident took place on Duval Road not far from the Jacksonville International Airport. The accident was deemed a hit-and-run, as police discovered the body of the bicyclist but the driver who hit him was nowhere in sight.
There were no witnesses to the hit-and-run so police are not yet sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident. They are still searching for the driver and working to identify the pedestrian.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
