Jacksonville, FL (July 14, 2020) – This afternoon around 12:20 p.m., a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the crash, which took place when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of I-295 around the area of Dunn Avenue. The collision involved multiple vehicles.
Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident and assisted those with injuries. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the southbound lanes until the police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been provided. The investigation continues.
