Jacksonville, FL – Fatal Car Accident on I-10 Near Hammond Blvd

Jacksonville, FL (March 14, 2020) – Around 10:30 a.m. this morning, a fatal car accident took place in the eastbound lanes of I-10 in Jacksonville.

The accident, according to authorities, took place around the area of Hammond Boulevard and involved at least two vehicles.

Emergency responders were called to the scene of the collision where they found that at least one victim was trapped inside their vehicle. There were extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Police quickly confirmed that at least one victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. However, their identity was not yet released.

At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
