Jacksonville Beach, FL – Driver Killed in 3rd St North Collision
Jacksonville Beach, FL (January 28, 2020) – At around 11:29 p.m., on January 27th, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on 3rd Street North.
Reports indicate that a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a red Ford Focus collided along the roadway, near 11th Avenue North for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision sent the red vehicle off the road where it wrapped around a light pole.
The 21-year-old male driver of the red sedan sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The 28-year-old driver of the truck was injured in the collision and transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
