Jacksonville, FL (July 9, 2020) – This afternoon, one person was reportedly injured in a car accident that took place on a roadway in Jacksonville.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place at 800 Cassat Avenue when two or more vehicles forcefully collided with one another for unknown reasons.

One person was trapped in their vehicle as a result of the collision and had to be rescued by fire crews. They were transported to the hospital with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

There were extensive delays in the area of the collision.
