Jacksonville Beach, FL (February 26, 2020) – Police in Jacksonville Beach are searching for a driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash at 1st Street and 5th Avenue. The accident took place around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, February 25. Police confirmed that a newer silver Dodge Charger struck a bicyclist at the intersection. The driver fled the scene, leaving the bicyclist on the ground. The bicyclist suffered from injuries but they are expected to make a recovery. Jacksonville Beach, FL (January 28, 2020) – At around 11:29 p.m., on January 27th, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on 3rd Street North.
