Jacksonville Beach, FL – Hit-and-Run Crash at 1st St and 5th Ave
Jacksonville Beach, FL (February 26, 2020) – Police in Jacksonville Beach are searching for a driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash at 1st Street and 5th Avenue.
The accident took place around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, February 25. Police confirmed that a newer silver Dodge Charger struck a bicyclist at the intersection.
The driver fled the scene, leaving the bicyclist on the ground. The bicyclist suffered from injuries but they are expected to make a recovery.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
